Earth Day

Earth Day
Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2017 Earth Day Roadside Cleanup and first annual Earth Day 5K race!

Join us for Washington's annual Earth Day roadside cleanup on April 22nd from 9:00 a.m until noon. WEC urges Washington residents to participate and adopt their road for clean up for Earth Day. Trash bags for the clean-up will be available at Bryan Memorial Town Hall starting April 20th. Trash collected for Earth Day should be deposited in the dumpster in front of Town Hall. This year, a shredder truck will be available to residents from 9 a.m. until noon on April 22nd.

Can you commit to "Adopting a Road?" Email us at: wec-ct@charter.net to let us know.

For those who are unable to participate on Saturday, the dumpster will be available from Thursday, April 20th through Monday, April 24th. Volunteers should exercise caution and good judgment relating to traffic and other safety concerns when participating in roadside cleanup activities.

Thank you for keeping our roads safe and beautiful!

THANK YOU to the local businesses who have supported our Earth Day events!
